When last did you just write?
On Fridays over here a group of people who love to go all out buck wild for the fun of the written word gather to share what five minutes buys them. Just five minutes. Unscripted. Unedited. Real.

1. Write for 5 minutes flat – no editing, no over thinking, no backtracking
2. Link back here (over at the gypsy mama) and invite others to join in.
3. Please visit the person who linked up before you & encourage them in their comments.
OK, are you ready? Give me your best five minutes on:
See.
I can not see where I am going, but I definitely see where I have been. Through a broken past, into the arms of a savior. My Jesus. The one who provides peace when I can not see past my situation. I see young boys who don’t seem to listen to my direction. I see piles of laundry that need to be completed. A garden with no plants. A bill folder with unpaid items. A husband who doesn’t see things how I do, and I who doesn’t see things how he does.
I see circumstances that cloud my view of what I know to be true.
Lord, Help me to see you in all of this chaos I feel so wrapped in.
I see things every day that drive me completely crazy, and I see things every day that make me want to take the world and hug it. Seeing is the most blessed sense at times because there are so many fabulous things in the world to watch.
A baby takes its mother’s breast and has its morning/noon/evening meal. What I see is nature, a child being fed and a mother loving that child in a way that no other being can do.
A gust of wind takes up a piece of debris and sends it on a wild ride. What I see is a marvelous journey that would be a truly wonderful way to travel if only we could find a way to use that power and make it get us where we want to go.
I see so many things every day that could make us be a better bunch of people, if we could only see what was looking us in the eye. There is so much that we could learn from seeing and not opining.
Oh so true, so much seems to cloud my view, if we can just remember to keep our eyes on Jesus!
