It simply amazes me that y’all continue to stick around to read what I have to say. Really it does.

So, apparently the summer, and this whole new “work from home” thing has really gotten the best of me. As if every other season doesn’t! In preparation for all that the fall chaos has to bring, I am hoping to get things off to a good start!

Announcement!

When I lost my job back in March, I just knew that I knew that it was a gift from God. My answered prayer so that I could continue pursuing what I believe to be God’s call in my life. I dabbled in some ideas a little, began trying to focus on my “other” job. And now I am even beginning to take up a photography business! I have always loved to take pictures, and I especially love newborns (I talk a little about that in my about me page. So I really think, maybe this is the link. And while I feel good about pursuing these dreams, and I feel like God has His hand in it, and will bless it. I have let my true gift, and calling slip to the back burner, and I don’t think that was ever His intention for me.

So…..the BIG announcement will be that I am really, truly, officially, actually going to switch the ol’ blog here to self hosted. It’s going to open up many opportunities and abilities for me. During that process, I am really going to be in prayer about where God wants me to go with this blog. So, there may also be some changes.

But I’m not sure how smooth the transition is, soooo….if I disappear for a while, please stick with me!

Apology!

I owe some of you a big fat apology….

I announced a blogiversary giveaway nearly a month ago!  At first I was quite discouraged. Only 3 people had entered it. TWO of them I know personally. Not that it matters, the giveaway is open for everyone…but seriously how weird is that? So, I considered extending it, but thought that might not be fair. I considered cancelling it. But that also wouldn’t be fair. Besides I already had ordered the bag.
