Ashamed of Jesus…

fire - onlookers

If your neighbor’s house were on fire; would you warn them? Would you not beat at their door in desperation to save them from the flames?

If someone you didn’t even know was standing straight in the path of death (like a moving train, falling object, etc…) and you could so easily warn them to move to safety…..wouldn’t you?

Why then, is it so difficult to share about Jesus, and His ability to save from the fiery, flaming, death embracing pits of hell?

I admit; I AM that person, yes I openly admit I am a Christian, to my friends, family, co-workers, and even the occasional stranger. Rarely (if ever) do I shout from the roof top (not literally) that Jesus saved me…”YES HE SAVED ME!!!! He saved me… and He can save YOU!”

I don’t share it. Why? I’m afraid to. Afraid of conflict, afraid of denial, afraid of questions I may not have answers to, and maybe even afraid of judgment.

I don’t want to be ashamed of my Jesus….He’s not ashamed of me! He hung right on that cross just for me…and for you!

From this day….I will vow to make atleast one attempt daily to boldly share the Life saving Grace of Jesus Christ….In a REAL way!

Jesus answered “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”

John 14:6

How will you make more effort to share Jesus, and His ability to FREE people (people we love) from eternal damnation??
