Just in Case you ever Wonder

Standard

I thought I would squeeze in another quick review from my great friends over at Book Sneeze.

(at least I feel like I’m getting something done 😉

I chose the book “just in Case You Ever Wonder” by Max Lucado because I actually thought, even if a little on the “child like” side, (maybe ages 4-8) I could share it with my newly Home Schooled 12 year old who is really struggling right now. I have read Max Lucados books in the past, and LOVED them! I can’t say that I was quite as “awe struck” with this one.

It was a great story, that assures a child that just in case they ever wonder about the love and endurance of their parent, or of God; it remains always! Only after reading it; I don’t think sharing it would be the greatest of ideas. One of his major struggles right now is that he is being home schooled. This book shares an illustration of a bad day at school.

The book also promises that we will be in Heaven together. Maybe I am basing my opinion from old wounds. But That is surely a promise I wouldn’t feel comfortable making.

Do I believe I’m going to Heaven? Absolutely!

Do I believe what Gods word says about getting to heaven? Absolutely!

But I am not God, and I don’t get to promise someone my eternity…that’s for Him to judge!

Although, I feel as though the book could have been slightly more diverse, even for the christian population; A great book none the less, I will for sure be reading it to all the little nieces and nephews. And I would surely recommend it to others!

you can get the Kindle edition on Amazon for LESS THAN $6 and Hard Caver for less than $10!
