Quenching Thirst

Standard
Empty.

Searching for Life.

For a quench in my soul.

Are you thirsty?

Thirsty for His presence?

For His guidance?

His Grace?

“Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.”
John 7:38

When we’re empty, with nothing left to give.

Dried up, parched, thirsty…

All we have to do is believe

And we shall have Streams of living water…

How do you quench your thirst when all feels dry?

  1. I have felt what you would call dry many times, like thereis nothing left in me and I just have no purpuse anymore. When I start feeling this way I always pray and ask God to send me someone that needs me in some small way and remine me of allthe ways I am useful amd can be of good use to others through the manyblessing He has put in my life to share and help bless others with. So it maybe be something as simpleas a ride to work or a store, some of the ladies I work with in a half-way-house may just need someone to talk with, and I’m bless with my own place where I can fix them a nice lunch and we can come talk and eat lunch or dinner together. These ladies also may need rides to their meeting which is good for both them and myself. But God does not stop there, No He also blessed me with a large family and they to will call apon me. To sit for a grandchild, or sometime my older grandson even call to spend the night or weekend because they have thing to doin town and just need to do something different. I think it’s great they think of me and make me feel useful as a member of the family. Anyway whenwe ask God to fill our cups they fill a bit dry, He will and He just may have them running over for you. So be carful what you pray for…Amen
