Sweet Sunday Scripture….Meekness

Standard

[meek]

adjective, -er, -est.

1. humbly patient or docile, as under provocation from others.
2. overly submissive or compliant; spiritless; tame.
3. Obsolete . gentle; kind.

Rarely am I humble, or patient, or docile….especially under the provocation of my husband, or children, or co-workers.
I quickly turn from my submissiveness, and rebel, like a wild woman.
I am no longer gentle or kind. Uplifting, or Encouraging.

But if I seek the Lord, seek righteousness, seek humility.
Maybe….Just maybe
I will find meekness

Seek the LORD,
All you humble of the earth
Who have carried out His ordinances;
Seek righteousness, seek humility.
Perhaps you will be hidden
In the day of the LORD’S anger.

Zephaniah 2:3

Are you ever that lion? Or are you more like the lamb?

Have a Blessed Sunday friends!
