Empty….{Five Minute Friday}

Standard
Around here we write for five minutes flat on Fridays. We write because we love words and the relief it is to just write them without worrying if they’re just right or not. So we take five minutes on Friday and write like we used to finger paint. For joy in the process. No matter how messy the result.
1. Write for 5 minutes flat – no editing, no over thinking, no backtracking

Go….

Empty

How amazingly ironic that the word for today would be:

Empty….

Did I not just spill how empty I felt over here just. the. other. day….?

That hurt, but for now I will speak of fullness.

Well, I’ll try to anyway….?

Even this week, as things have sort of fallen apart in my life (some personal things maybe to be shared later)

I am not empty…

A fullness of joy!

Currently this home is full…

It seriously took me longer to capture this photo than it did to write the post... 2 of mine are missing and 3 of these are guests!

Full of chaos. Full of extra rowdy boys. teens and tweens alike. Full of dirty dishes.

Full of video games and snack foods.

Full of laughter and giggles and bickering too.

Full of interruptions (as I have had to pause this 5 minute timer 3 times as of now.)

Today, there is no room for emptyness…

and for that I am thankful.

and even when life throws curve balls meant to empty your being…

Joy and love fill your heart and soul!

Stop.
