Loud….{Five minute Friday}

Standard
Around here we write for five minutes flat on Fridays. We write because we love words and the relief it is to just write them without worrying if they’re just right or not. So we take five minutes on Friday and write like we used to finger paint. For joy in the process. No matter how messy the result.
1. Write for 5 minutes flat – no editing, no over thinking, no backtracking

Go….

Loud.

And Yes, of course we must talk about boys.

And how so very. loud. they. are.

By Nature.

Intense. Rambunctious. Vibrant. Rowdy.

Real!

As a mother I feel as if I yell, so much more than I desire to.
Not yelling because I’m angry.
Not yelling because I’m emotional.

Yelling, because it is the only way to be heard through the loudness of them.

Loudness of:
their laughter
their television
their ipods
their dirt bikes
and four wheelers
and mostly their own voices.

Loud and Intense!

Stop!

  1. You’ve described my house so well!! My boys are older, but still loud. When hubby and I get to go out alone I hear “you don’t have to yell” from him quite often. Giggle. I love my boys!!
