A new Love

Never fails. There comes the section that asks you:

What are your hobbies and interests?

And always, Always..I don’t know what to say.

I have LOTS of hobbies that sound good in my head. Like gardening, reading, writing, bike riding… but really, I don’t do much of any of it. Cause life is just busy, you know?

I am always the one behind the camera at all of our family gatherings. I love to take photos, of our family events, flowers, still shots, etc….and I could sit and look at others photos all day. (especially the cute newborn ones…sigh)

My baby sister recently said “I do” to the man she chose to spend the rest of her life with. She’s on a limited income, and well…professional photography wasn’t really something that she wanted to invest in. And that is how I became her “photographer”

I used my sisters regular ole’ upgraded version of a personal camera. not professional grade by ANY means….. (and I won’t even tell you how I edited them) I have a version of photoshop, but NO idea how to use it!

I. HAD. A. BLAST!!!
She didn’t have a “wedding party” so I was able to follow her around all day, just like a photographer would. 😉 and captured some wonderful backyard wedding shots!

I was literally crawling around in the grass to get shots….

I think I really found a new hobby….One that I love!!!

Photography!!!!

Now…..I have a WHOLE lot more to learn…..

A New Love.
A New Hobby.

  1. That is SOOOO ironic! I am the same way, and my sis just remarried, and didn’t have a big budget, so I was her photographer, and I had so much fun with it! 🙂 And I can’t even afford photoshop, so I just edited with GIMP and a few online sites I have found that have cool edits… Gorgeous shots!
